Jackson County Prosecutor Contender Burton Battles Grant In EPIC Mundo Interview

And so we finish this Friday with political fireworks ahead of the CRUCIAL upcoming election for Jackson County Prosecutor.

More to the point, it's nice to see the local political conversation finally moving outside of newspaper pages for good  . . . Accordingly . . .

PETE MUNDO CONDUCTS AN EPIC INTERVIEW WITH STEPHANIE BURTON WHEREIN THE CANDIDATE ANSWERS ACTIVIST GWEN GRANT'S ELECTION ADVICE!!!

Remember . . .

Urban League leader Gwen Grant basically asked Burton to drop out so that KC's Black community could achieve the first African-American Jackson County prosecutor.

And so . . .

It's important that Ms. Burton has ample opportunity to respond.

Moreover . . .

We agree with highlights sent our way by BADASS INSIDERS . . .

Stephanie's not going to drop out of the race!

Ms. Burton said:

"I'm not seeking seeking support because I'm Black or because I've lived on the East side. I'm seeking support because I'm the most experienced, I bring a well-rounded approach and perspective to the criminal justice system and I'm not going to work to further alienate law enforcement agencies by playing identity politics that only makes communities less safe."

"It's not about being the first Black anything. It's about being the most qualified candidate."

She does really well during the Pete Mundo interview and isn't afraid to challenge her opponents or Gwen Grant of the Urban League.
