For close readers of our blog community, we share "news" of  an "elegant weapon for a more civilized age."

Sadly, the weapon mostly works against the liver of the user and civilization is a relative term given the technological horrors that most modern societies can inflict on each other at the press of a button. 

But I digress . . .

We really enjoyed this report from The Pitch about another bar in town that celebrates the legacy of refined good times before so many people simply satisfied their cravings with meth behind the dumpster of a gas station . . . Enjoy . . .

"Opened by Bree and Travis Gensler on March 9, 2024, the bar remembers a man known as The Sentinel. He was the editor-in-chief for The Independence Sentinel in the early 1900s. His love for whiskeys, bourbons specifically, was well known across the town."
