Gunfire Erupts During Overland Park Domestic Drama

Violence is ramping up amid Spring/Summer 2024 as a recent altercation turned very personal in this otherwise peaceful suburban enclave . . .

Here are the basics . . . 

"Overland Park police said officers were called to West 83rd Street and Mastin Street just after midnight to investigate a domestic disturbance that escalated to a shooting.

"Investigators said a man and woman were involved in a domestic altercation at that location. As the woman was leaving, the man reportedly pulled out a handgun and fired several rounds at a passing motorist, striking the man as he was driving through the lot."

Man shot, woman injured after Overland Park domestic violence incident, suspect not in custody

It's unclear if the man who was shot was involved in the initial incident.
