The Missouri Guv should've done something sooner . . . Probably during the arctic chill of January given that mainstream KC journalists are on record giving credence to threats of political violence.
The reality is that mob justice and politics shouldn't influence this decision at all.
And so . . .
Given an outpouring of support and continued advocacy by so many locals who stridently support police.
This quote from a former KCPD detective's wife shares a sense of urgency and reminds that the topic of pardon is one of the most important issues confronting local leaders in the very near future.
Here's the word . . .
"Eric has already spent the last 7 months in prison, unjustly I might add . . . The thought of just leaving him there is heartbreaking. 💔 Please @GovParsonMO do the right thing now."
