Did KU & UMKC Pro-Palestine Protest FAIL?!?

Sure . . .

Saving the world is important along with solving all of the world's problems by way of chanting and wearing tough looking gear.

However . . . 

It seems that studying has taken priority for more practical Heartland college students.

Accordingly . . . Here's what we notice on Saturday morning . . .

At both KU & UMKC, protest seem to have fizzled quickly with finals coming up.

Even prog blogs are forced to mention the quick "deescalation" that kinda makes it all look a bit performative. 

At UMKC there was even less commitment with the "liberation zone" lasting only long enough to earn a nice afternoon of TV coverage. 

Sure, there are a few stragglers but it seems like most students around here have better ways to waste their time . . . To their credit, that sociology degree isn't going to earn itself.
