Court Dox Deets: Linemen For Kansas City Chiefs Arrested Whilst Driving With Weed

A couple of things about this weed bust . . .

The NFL always brags about "life skills" they teach players but clearly nobody is updating the team about how the rules of the road work in the metro.

Also . . .

Can't Super Bowl champs afford weed carriers?!?!

That's an old school term that should still resonate in a town like KC . . . A quick definition:

Weed Carrier: A member of a group, gang or entourage whose primary purpose is to carry dr*gs, usually marijuana. Through this job, the leader of the group has no liability in any potential drug related problems.

This is actually the only member of an entourage who serves a legitimate (yet sometimes illicit) purpose and earns his keep whilst taking great risk and proving loyalty every day.

Secondly . . .

MAYOR Q & JASON KANDER WERE ABSOLUTELY WRONG ABOUT THIS BUST!!!

Remember that Mayor Q decried the use of mugshots.

And then  . . .

Kansas City's favorite politico Jason Kander compared the bust to drinking booze.

However . . .

ALLEGEDLY BEHIND THE WHEEL WITH WEED AND THE RISK OF DRIVING HIGH IS VERY DANGEROUS TO INNOCENT PEOPLE ON THE ROAD!!!

Already the Chiefs have confronted more than their share of danger behind the wheel and this roadside bust kinda confirms the team needs some basic lessons on driver's safety.

Check the deets . . .

"According to an affidavit filed in the case, around 10 p.m. on May 16, a Johnson County Sheriff’s deputy on patrol in the area of W. 159th Street and U.S. 69 Highway in Overland Park pulled over a Jeep that did not have its taillights turned on.

"The affidavit states the deputy “smelled the strong odor of marijuana” coming from inside the Jeep, which was being driven by Godrick, with Morris in the front passenger seat.

"The deputy eventually learned from the pair that Godrick had marijuana in his front pants pocket and Morris had marijuana in a black bag on the floor of the Jeep.

"The affidavit says the deputy located the marijuana, field tested it, and found it to be presumptively positive for THC. It was not clear how much marijuana either person had in their possession.

"The pair were arrested and booked into the Johnson County Adult Detention Center early Friday morning, May 17. The pair made a video appearance before a Johnson County District Court judge later Friday before posting $2,500 bond."
