Seniors Fear Downtown Kansas City Royals Stadium Won't Be Accessible

Like it or not . . . They're 100% correct . . . Also, it's easier to mug old people who can't run away.

"There are parking options as a whole in the greater downtown area with the Royals saying there are 40,000 spots in total. The council members argue parking specifically for the senior citizens and handicapped in our community -- and those traveling to KC for the games -- is not planned correctly and safely.

"The Senior Citizens’ Advisory Council worries for the people who can’t make the walk from the streetcar, can’t make the walk from a few blocks, can’t make the walk from a hundred feet."
