Reddy Rebukes Rep. Sharice Davids On Antisemitism Silence

Remember that even last year Rep. Davids took heat for sitting out a vote on antisemitism. 

Now that protest across college campuses and increased threats have sparked concerns, a congressional contender is speaking out. 

Overall, we haven't really been impressed with her reelection campaign that mostly relies upon voter habit and middle-class demographics.

Accordingly, we wanted to take a moment to share a recent statement sent our way that most local news will dutifully ignore . . .

Reddy Issues Statement on Sharice Davids’ Silence on Anti-Semitism

LENEXA, KS (April 26th, 2024)  — As anti-Semitism is surging on college campuses across the country, including at Cornell (where Sharice Davids attended), protesters have occupied buildings and made outrageous demands. Twenty-four protesters have been arrested for squatting in campus buildings.

Sharice Davids hasn’t said a word about it, but she has repeatedly voted against supporting Israel and condemning anti-Semitism.

In response to her silence, Dr. Prasanth Reddy issued the following statement:

“If there’s one thing we know about Sharice Davids, it’s that she will never stand up to her own party’s extremism. She voted against the resolution censuring Rashida Tlaib for anti-Semitic comments. She voted against the resolution supporting Israel and condemning anti-Semitism. So of course she’s silent about the anti-Semitic, pro-Hamas mob squatting on her alma mater’s campus. It’s not surprising, but it’s still appalling. This district deserves a representative who isn’t afraid of condemning hate, regardless of the political impact, and that’s exactly what I’ll be. Sharice Davids owes Kansas City’s Jewish community an apology.”
