Reality Check: Kansas City Chiefs & Royals Leaving Jackson County

Kansas City voters seem to have FINALLY awoken to the cruel reality of the free market and realized that activists & anti-tax campaigners LIED to the electorate when they downplayed the risk of Chiefs & Royals moving.

Moreover . . . We want to start by clearing up a deception that KCMO politicos & pundits keep repeating:

THERE IS NO "GOING BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD" THE CHIEFS & ROYALS ARE LEAVING JACKSON COUNTY!!!

We'll only allow a small hope that one of the teams MIGHT stay in the metro . . . But at this point all bets are off.

Remember . . .

The same people who claim the teams won't leave the region were COMPLETELY WRONG about the teams staying put insider KC Proper.

Moreover . . . Here's the open secret that all of the local politicos understand:

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS HAVE TOLD MANY LOCAL POLITICOS THAT THEY'RE NEVER GOING BACK ON THE BALLOT . . . WHICH RULES OUT MISSOURI & MAYBE EVEN KANSAS!!!

Again . . .

So many other towns who have lost their teams doubted their fate right until the moving vans pulled away. Hope, theatricality and deception are powerful agents to the uninitiated.

But here at TKC we are initiated.

And so we offer this status report . . .

- There is no "cooling off" period. The teams are now talking with their feet.

- Save The K was a lie: The Royals don't want it.

- Now BACK-TO-BACK SUPER BOWL CHAMPION Kansas City Chiefs have CONFIRMED they're in play for a move despite the assurances of the Mayor, friendly reporters, clueless keyboard warriors and so many pay-for-play activists all working together in order to mislead the electorate.
