Tech trouble sign of the times . . .
According to the preliminary investigation, officers reported the driver of a Tesla 3 was likely speeding southbound on N. Platte Purchase Drive. Officers said the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The Tesla crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a Buick Encore.
The driver of the Buick later died at a hospital.
