Kansas City Will Blame Republicans For Losing Chiefs & Royals

Right now we take a quick look behind the scenes and into the not-so-distant future . . .

There are a couple of things worth sharing with our TKC reader community that most of the plebs watching the local TV news don't understand . . .

First . . .

Why did the Chiefs & Royals "rush" their tax extension bid???

Answer . . .

The cover story is that nobody wanted any part of the 2024 election cycle.

That's true but there's more . . . Here's what KICK-ASS INSIDERS have told TKC:

Guv Parson was more apt to give Chiefs & Royals EVEN MORE CASH after a yes vote than any of the current GOP front-runners to replace him.

In fact . . .

MISSOURI SEC STATE JAY ASHCROFT SEEMS OPENLY HOSTILE TOWARD FUNDING PRO-SPORTS!!!

That's a popular position amongst conservatives and might actually win votes.

However . . .

VERY MUCH LIKE THE KCMO MURDER RATE, STADIUM FUNDING FOR CHIEFS & ROYALS NOW THREATENS TO BECOME MIRED IN PARTISAN SLAP FIGHTING!!!

Consider our bad analogy . . .

Kansas City continues to suffer historic & deadly violence whilst local political leadership points fingers at the GOP Super Majority over gun rights and Jeff City blames progressive policies & defund police attitudes . . . Sadly, neither side seem actively interested in doing anything out of the ordinary to try and curb the violence.

And so . . .

It's VERY LIKELY that Chiefs & Royals funding suffers the very same gridlock whilst both parties blame the other side for disaster.

Of course . . .

Here at www.TonysKansasCity.com we understand that efforts to curb violence on local streets are far more important than the fate of pro-sports teams.

But the example helps to illustrate the trend . . .

Culture war partisan politics provides the PERFECT excuse for elected officials to DO NOTHING whilst both Chiefs & Royals move out of city limits and further away than most fans realize.

Sadly, "regionalism" is yet another lie that local voters have been tricked into believing at their own expense . . . Meanwhile, the idea that Kansas will pick up the tab was yet another lie offered to voters with very little proof and already that plan seems to be falling apart whilst other cities have already started efforts to lure the teams away.

Developing . . .
