Kansas City Top 10 Small Biz Celebrated: Sadly, Your Tamale Lady Didn't Make List

Sign of the times . . . For years, KCMO urban core denizens host a variety of ladies going door-to-door selling tamales. It's an okay tradition that SOMETIMES hits the spot but often gets annoying when it feels like a tax on your conscience . . . Anyhoo . . . Here's local biz mag blathering over locals who aren't quite as enterprising as so many "new friends" selling their wares by the roadside . . .

“This year, 60 candidates applied for awards, and we were awed by the talent and dedication of every one of these innovators,” said Joe Reardon, president and CEO of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. “Year after year, it is abundantly clear that our region’s small business community is vibrant and so deserving of recognition.”
