Kansas City Star Offers Abuse Questions BUT NO REPORTING Against Bishop Miege

Full disclosure . . . 

This school is TKC's old school alma mater but we've never had much affinity for the place. Our time served doesn't preclude us considering stories about the administration critically.

And so . . .

PULITZER WINNING SCRIBE QUESTIONS BISHOP MIEGE OVER NASTY ALLEGATIONS BUT DOESN'T OFFER ANY NEW DEETS!!!

History of abuse, coverups and nasty charges confront every Catholic. 

However . . .

This Sunday screed DOESN'T TELL US ANYTHING NEW. 

In fact, it mostly just revels in tragic deets/deeds with very little analysis or insight . . . Which is kinda the point for any worthwhile op/ed column. 

Of course, we'll link to the newspaper's side of the story that, rightfully, might shock some readers while close news watchers won't be surprised by the reporting or the bias against this faith community . . .

"The real question at Bishop Miege, it seems to me, is this: How much benefit of the doubt should be extended to someone not just accused of sexually abusing a minor, but of facilitating the abuse of others? At what risk to young people, and at what cost to survivors?"
