Kansas City Police Report 'Accidental' Shooting Kills Youngster

Tragic postscript and today's reminder that promoting GUN SAFETY and responsible ownership is worthwhile and might actually persuade a few people far more than draconian 2nd Amendment crackdowns that'll never earn heartland support. 

Here's the basics of a recent report:

"KCMO police said they were called on a reported sound of shots. While en route, the call was upgraded to a shooting.

"Officers detained a person on the scene for further investigation.

"The preliminary investigation revealed the shooting appears to be accidental and appears to be self-inflicted."
