Homicide 8300 blk NW 90: UPDATES

The individuals have been identified as follows:

DOMONIQUE A. MCGEACHY B/F 12-10-1985

JEREL D. MCGEACHY JR. B/M 08-20-2011

JEREL D. MCGEACHY B/M 03-20-1986

The case is still active and ongoing.  The following information is preliminary.  The individuals involved in this incident were all family members.  Domonique and Jerel were the mother and father of Jerel Jr.

The deaths of Domonique and Jerel Jr. are being investigated as a homicide.  They appeared to have both suffered fatal gunshot wounds.

Jerel Sr. appeared to die as the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Investigators, at this point, are not actively looking for anyone else involved.

It is important to again note that this information is preliminary and investigators are still compiling evidence.
