Kansas City Mourns Slacker

A sad story that our blog community has been following over the past year.

This morning it's bittersweet to notice most local news outlets dedicating a great deal of coverage to the beloved local DJ . . . 

Here's today's word . . .

101 The Fox announced on Wednesday morning that disc jockey Slacker died Tuesday night from complications of AML - acute myeloid leukemia.

“Slacker had two great passions, his family, and his time on the air in Kansas City. For over 33 years, the last 16 at 101 The Fox, Slacker loved to entertain his radio audience,” the radio station stated.
