Kansas City Mayor Q Claims Teams Won't Move After Stadium Tax FAIL

Here's a quick bit of 12th & Oak reassurance that deserves attention if only because it contradicts most behind the scenes chatter and reporting that Kansas Star Bonds are now in the game and ready to lure the teams without messy public votes. 

Also . . . This is coming from the same politico who flip-flopped on his word about a downtown stadium and hasn't really been involved in this negotiation either way. 

Check-it: 

"I hear rumors, including even from the Mayor of Dallas.

Don't believe the noise. We are committed to retention of our teams with vastly lower expenses--think needed infrastructure build out--than even an intra-metro move. Both teams will be in KCMO in 2040 and long after."
