We're waiting for a final determination from KCPD but as of this first writing we we know that there have been 4 fatalities reported in local homicide investigations over the past 24 hours.
A recent summary:
- Northland homicide documented three people including a youngster killed.
- This morning an adult male was reportedly killed following gunfire.
We'll update with more info as it becomes available . . . In the meantime, we're sharing local news reports confirming what the rise in deadly local crime so far.

Kansas City police are investigating a deadly shooting near 55th Street and Michigan Ave in Kansas City.
2 adults, 1 juvenile found dead during KCPD welfare check in the Northland
KCPD reported to the triple homicide scene shortly before noon on Monday, April 1, 2024
