Here's another peek at an upcoming & ultimately disappointing project:

"It is estimated that repairing the garage as it stands would take around $30 million and only extend the life of the garage for 10 more years.

"Instead, a new garage will be in place by 2026. The proposed garage would have 583 spaces, significantly less than the 975 it once held, which has worried some council members."

Barney Allis Plaza parking garage closes ahead of its demolition in May

Originally built in 1954 and last renovated in 1984, this Kansas City garage has reached the end of its life.
