Sure, sometimes we'll warn that backdoor shenanigans come with inherent risks but skeptical souls often discount our genuine concern amid so much snark and hottie celebrities reported upon on by this blog.

Maybe we're feeling a bit of Catholic guilt over joining the hype for the historic Missouri legal weed boom.

Either way . . . Recent blogging about cash crop profits got us thinking about a longstanding local connection to good times by way of dangerous substances . . . Again, we were inspired by local bar celebration of this town's sketchy history:
