Let's hope this trend doesn't catch on . . . We have to wonder if there's a vaccine for "concrete cancer" or maybe wearing a mask might help.

Either way . . . As the vote gets closer, take a peek at persuasion that's growing less effective:

"The term 'concrete cancer' has been thrown around to describe the condition of the Kauffman Stadium concrete. According to the Jackson County Sports Authority, “concrete cancer is caused when the steel reinforcing the concrete slab begins to rust. As the steel rusts, it expands and displaces the surrounding concrete, causing it to become brittle and crack. Signs of concrete cancer include delaminated and cracking concrete (concrete spalling)."
