Smallish Earthquake Near Kansas City Shakes Flimsy New Airport

Thankfully, nobody was hurt and there hasn't been any damage reported . . . Here are a couple of recent updates . . .

According to the USGS, the quake which took place around 1:46 p.m., was centered about one kilometer north northeast of Ferrelview, Missouri.

An airport spokesperson said some airport personnel reported feeling the earthquake but no observable damage was reported.

"Inspections of the airfield and terminal are underway," the airport posted on social media.
