Show-Me Yet Another Election Year Immigration Crackdown

Tough talk might impress the gullible who haven't taken a look around and seen all of the work performed by very nice people who, sadly, have sketchy immigration status. 

Have you been to McDonald's lately?!? Probably not if you don't speak Spanish. 

Still, here's a fun promise that we'll hear again in 4 years . . .

The three-part measure would create the state-level crime of “improper entry by an alien,” punishable by a $10,000 fine and a possible removal order.

It would also prohibit the Legislature from funding private or public entities “for the purpose of providing services to aliens unlawfully present in the United States.”

Missouri GOP bills target undocumented immigrants

Multiple pieces of legislation targeting undocumented immigrants in Missouri are set to be heard by committees in the House and Senate on Monday.
