Show-Me Local Control Trending?!?!

Check this important conservative legislative clap back against STL that would also work to strengthen law enforcement governance in KCMO.

The inconvenient fact in this discussion: The year after STL earned police "local control" they suffered record breaking homicides . . . To date their police department remains mired in turmoil.

And so . . . Here's the basics: 

"Members of the Missouri House of Representatives passed a bill that would place control of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department under a state-appointed board.

"House members voted 109-36 Thursday to approve the measure. It now goes to the Senate."

Missouri House passes bill to place St. Louis Police under state control, like the KCPD

The legislation, which now goes to the Senate, would place control of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department under a board consisting of governor appointees members and the mayor. The Kansas City Police Department is the only major city in the U.S. currently under such a system.
