Kansas City Public Schools announced that starting pay in the district is increasing. The pay change bumps starting salaries from $46,600 to $48,100.
The district said it’s also increasing pay for current teachers in the district. The change was announced in a video from Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Collier and AFT President Jason Roberts.
