THE NEW KC CURRENTS STADIUM DOESN'T HAVE A LOT OF ACCESS FOR PEOPLE WHO DEPEND ON WHEELCHAIRS OR MIGHT HAVE MOBILITY ISSUES!!!
It's a complaint that deserves consideration and should be addressed given that Kansas City building codes DEMAND ACCESSIBLE BUILDINGS . . . Check-it:
After attending Saturday's game, she said the lack of a handicapped shuttle to get her to the stadium was her biggest issue.
"They basically told us to meet in the same spot for the disabled shuttle as the able-bodied shuttle. The able-bodied shuttle ended up being a school bus. The Current couldn't tell us what the disabled shuttle was going to look like the day before, so I didn't know what I was looking for. So, I just got in line for the school bus and never saw a disabled shuttle before I got to the stadium," she said.
She also said that the large steps made the school bus shuttle challenging.
