Kansas Rep. Sharice Davids Against Government Shut Down

Prog blog accolades were sent with love to this favorite JoCo politico . . . Still, the new deadline for a partial shut down is at the end of this week so she might have to do it all again . . . Take a look:

"U.S. Rep. Sharice Davids, a Democrat serving the 3rd District, voted for the bill authorizing funding for a handful of federal agencies until Friday and others through March 22. The House approved the measure 320-99 without endorsements from Republican U.S. Reps. Tracey Mann of the 1st District, Jake LaTurner of the 2nd District and Ron Estes of the 4th District.

"The bill was adopted 77-13 in the U.S. Senate, with Republican U.S. Sen. Roger Marshall voting against it. GOP U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran didn’t cast a vote."
