Kansas City Officer-Involved Shooting Aftermath: Lady Charged

 41-year-old woman is now facing charges in Platte County.

The shooting happened around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday near Ambassador and Polo drives. MSHP is now leading the investigation.

A spokesperson for the Kansas City Police Department said it happened as two officers were serving court paperwork near a cluster of hotels just south of Kansas City International Airport.

Highway Patrol: KCPD officer shot woman while serving her temporary restraining order

The shooting is reportedly in the area of Tiffany Springs Parkway and NW Polo Drive.
