This report offers a bit of good news amid harsh times . . .

Sadly . . . That number is only for single people . . . The rub (or lack thereof) is that the dating scene is structurally abysmal and costs will quickly rise for family life.

The entry level for the rat race is somewhat closer to reality according to a recent study.

"Kansas City landed at No. 39 in the report, requiring an hourly wage of $43.40 or a salary of $90,272 for a single adult to live comfortably. Two working adults with two kids would need to make $213,325."
