Kansas City Big Slick 2024 Hype Begins

Before the days of Taylor Swift . . . These B-listers were the biggest thing in town.

Their efforts to help youngsters are still commendable and deserve support.

More publicity for their annual event starts this week . . . Here's a bit of a tease from our hipster friends:

"Big Slick started 15 years ago as a celebrity poker tournament hosted and founded by Riggle, Rudd, and Sudeikis. Over the years, the event has transformed into a multi-day weekend—This year’s featuring a celebrity softball game, along with a party and comedy show.

"Over the years, Big Slick has raised over $21 million for pediatric cancer research at Children’s Mercy. The money raised by this event helps ensure that young patients battling cancer are able to receive the newest and greatest treatments and medications in pediatric oncology.

"Ticket presale for the Big Slick Party & Show will open up Tuesday, March 19, at 10 a.m. Presale will only be available to Big Slick insiders and email subscribers, and you can sign up to join the list today here. Tickets will become available to the general public Friday, March 22, at 10 a.m."
