"Former Chiefs (assistant) coach Britt Reid had his sentence commuted on Friday. Britt Reid was sentenced to three years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after he was convicted in a DUI crash that severely injured five-year-old Ariel Young."

The former coach pleaded guilty in September 2022 to driving while intoxicated causing bodily injury.
