"Upon arrival at Raytown Village Apartments, officers found two individuals shot and transported them to a nearby hospital.
"One person was taken into custody, but the circumstances leading to the shooting are currently unknown."

One in custody following double shooting at Raytown apartment complex
Police received multiple calls just after 8 p.m. reporting shots fired at the 7700 block of Raytown Road.
