Politicos stress it's not a ban . . . Just a crackdown forced sale that clandestinely threatens all manner of online publishing. 

Still . . . 

Local voters shouldn't be surprised that there is widespread agreement on getting rid of the tech without the caveat that it's basically just a better version of Vine . . . Which Twitter FAILED to capitalize on . . . 

Accordingly, here's a passage that stands out . . .

"The urge from lawmakers to get rid of it, comes because the app is owned by a Chinese company, many believe creating a national security risk.

"The Kansas City metro’s representatives on both sides of the aisle, from Republican Mark Alford to Democrats Emmanuel Cleaver and Sharice Davids, voted to get rid of it."
