The desperate "need" for a new downtown Kansas City stadium might be myth-busted in this report that should have voters second guessing upcoming efforts to buy out and destroy most of the Crossroads.
A couple of you guys have already mentioned this note in the comments . . . The team disputes the findings but it'll certainly help keep FB occupied today and MIGHT encourage more grassroots activism against the current plan.

The Royals have repeatedly said the concrete has an issue, but a study reveals that Kauffman Stadium is in "satisfactory condition," consistent with a "first-class" MLB baseball stadium.
The 2022 study was conducted by Burns & McDonnell on behalf of the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority.
According to the assessment, the stadium's flatwork, landscaping, and structures were "mostly acceptable" with routine maintenance.
The study did find "minor physical deficiencies."
