In a statement the district says in part:

“The safety and well-being of our students are of utmost importance to us.  We are committed to upholding our Student Code of Conduct and adhering to board policies to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for everyone.

The school administration is actively investigating and taking appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with our Student Code of Conduct and board policies. Our school district is committed to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Our dedicated staff members work diligently to defuse or address potential disagreements among students whenever they arise. However, we want to reiterate that any form of violence or aggression is unacceptable and goes against the values we strive to instill in our students.”
