Kansas Reflector Blog Advocates For Gaza

It seems that the "prog blog" trend is picking up for campaign 2024 but now seems a bit more obvious in their outright advocacy over any semblance of journalism.

Accordingly . . . 

Check this screed that casually dismisses a terrorist attack that killed more Jewish people than at any point since World War II . . .

"There is a long history of Israel’s disproportionate response to any dangers, real or perceived. Historically, Palestinian conflict casualties have been 10 times those of Israelis. At this moment, the response to 1,200 Israeli deaths on Oct. 7 has been more than 24,000 Palestinians deaths, two-thirds of those women and children.

"Eighty-five percent of 2 million-plus Palestinian Gaza residents are dead, displaced, homeless, starving, made hapless victims of war-induced disease.

"No deaths are justified. But Gaza’s death toll is now 20 times more than Israel’s, not just 10. There’s barely a building left standing. How can we ignore this?"

When does being smug reduce us to thugs? On the Kansas Legislature's first day, a resolution was rammed through. State business? Nah. Unconditional support of Israel. We have no indication that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took notice. At almost the same time, I received a request to call a friend's mother.
