Kansas City Star Enlists Conservative Policy Expert Patrick Tuohey To Pen Column

Tonight we share deets on local dead-tree media attempting to lure back readers and maybe even stop their subscription numbers from fading.

CHECK THIS KANSAS CITY STAR CONSERVATIVE DIVERSITY HIRE: PATRICK TUOHEY NOW PENS WEEKLY COLUMN FOR COWTOWN DEAD-TREE MEDIA!!!

Longtime denizens of the discourse know him for his work at The Show-Me Institute. Turns out he's back there as well, in a part-time capacity, in addition to his ongoing work at the startup he recently founded.

The TKC takeaway here is that the newspaper has FINALLY realized a totally progressive perspective without any debate or alternate viewpoints gives even the most reasonable readers good cause to ignore their publishing efforts.

Accordingly, here's more background on the local Republican for so many of our progressive friends who will now start looking to cancel him over some perceived slight . . .

"Patrick Tuohey is co-founder and policy director of the Better Cities Project which aims to deliver the best in public policy research from around the country to local leaders, communities, and voters. He works to foster understanding of the consequences — often unintended — of local policies regarding economic development, taxation, education, policing and transportation. In 2021, Patrick served as a fellow of the Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics at the University of Kansas and is currently a visiting fellow at the Yorktown Foundation for Public Policy in Virginia."
