
Mayor Q offers more supportive words and perspective following tragedy . . .
Lucas moved on to say that Thursday is a day of healing for all people impacted by the shooting at Union Station on Wednesday.
"Today is about healing for many people in Kansas City," Lucas said.
"Those who were very closely impacted and hit, comforting the family of our one deceased victim. And my condolences go out to them tremendously," Lucas said.
"And then, of course, trying to comfort the hundreds of thousands of people who were there present yesterday, the families and the children."
The mayor asks that anyone with information call the Kansas City Police Department.
KCPD has set up a tips line for people who witnessed the shooting incident, has any video or was a victim of the shooting who hasn’t yet reported being shot to call (816) 413-3477.
