Kansas City Faith Community Coalition Welcomes Refugees

Whilst a crisis at the U.S. Southern border has many progressives rethinking their views about immigration . . . Faith-based locals have united in order to make the transition to American life easier for hundreds of families.

"Since the Heartland Welcome and Support Coalition (HWSC) start, it has drawn in volunteers from other churches as well as Jews, Muslims and others who are trying to help people caught up in the stumbling, overwhelmed and at times heartless U.S. immigration system. "

KC Faith Community Offers Help for Asylum Seekers

The Kansas City faith community is stepping up to help asylum seekers from Venezuela and other countries through the Heartland Welcome and Support Coalition.
