Forever 21 Stays Losing On The Plaza, Independence Center & Legends

The demise of the this former fast fashion giant doesn't bode well for local retail and/or the economy.

Here are the basics of the local decline . . .

"A store employee confirmed that the Plaza location is expected to close toward the end of March but could close sooner depending on how fast remaining merchandise sells.

"The Forever 21 employee confirmed that two other area stores are slated to close in March and April:

" - 1817 Village West Parkway F101 in Kansas City, Kansas, at Legends Outlets Kansas City

- "-18801 E. 39th St. South in Independence at Independence Center"
