We're pleasantly surprised to witness Kansas City support for campy humor and just a bit of fun via roadside messages that are often completely ignored . . . Check-it:
Some of MoDOT’s signs have said things like, “Columbus day…discover your turn signal” and “Trick or Treat yourself to a seat belt”.
The Federal Highway Administration is now saying, no more.
A more than 1,000-page manual was released by the FHA. In it, they recommend states only use the signs for serious matters. Each state has two years to adjust to the new manual.
