Record Hold Times Plague Kansas City 911

In a year when homicide stats reached historic heights . . . We also learned that HELP ISN'T COMING ANY TIME SOON . . . Check this data on emergency response times:

"Currently, people listen to an automated message that encourages them to keep holding and the next live call taker will be with them shortly. In May, the average hold time was a full minute . . . Kansas City never met that goal for any month in 2023. In December, only 65.77% of calls were answered within 20 seconds. May was even worse at 45%."
