
It's policy on this blog to try and avoid arguing over the efforts of other people to earn more cash.
And so . . . We merely notice that red state Kansas leads this effort to increase compensation for elected officials . . .Check-it:
"A bill passed last year by the Kansas Legislature created a commission to consider the question of compensation. If its recommendations are accepted, legislator salaries would nearly double in 2025. They’ve been stagnant since 2009."
