Oppenheimer Blows Up 2024 Kansas City Film Critics Circle Awards

Of course our local cinema experts honor that most cerebral movie of the year rather and snub Barbie along with everybody else. 

And, again, we convey our pet peeve and reiterate that MOVIES ARE NO LONGER SHOT ON FILM and so the moniker of this group speaks to a long gone technical process . . . Like meeting a lady's parents.

"The Kansas City Film Critics Circle (KCFCC), one of the oldest critics groups in the U.S., revealed the winners of its 58th awards where Oppenheimer won six, including Best Film and Best Director for Christopher Nolan."
