KANSAS CITY AIRPORT TOURS EXPOSE MUNICIPAL LEADERS BECOMING COMPLETELY OUT OF TOUCH WITH CONSTITUENTS AND REALITY!!!

Nevertheless, here's a peek at the pitch . . .

The airport is considering the implementation of visitor gate passes that would allow individuals inside the airport that do not have a ticket to fly, and they could be available as early as this summer.

KCI Deputy Director of Aviation Justin Meyer said the visitor passes would likely not have a charge.

“There’s some technology that needs to be procured to allow that process to happen,” Meyer said. “We’d want to gather a lot of the same information airlines are gathering – name, gender, date of birth – to run against the database to make sure they’re not a threat.”

Meyer even suggested a possible guided art tour through the airport, because there is actually $5.6 million worth of commissioned artwork.
