Kansas City Reparations Proposal Downplayed On MLK Day

This evening local faith communities rally for a controversial proposal in the name of civil rights leader. 

To wit and even awarding taxpayer cash based on racial designations might not represent any kind of equitable or sustainable practice for government . . .

In Red State Missouri there is every little support for funding this policy and that's why local news would rather focus on upbeat and "on message" displays of civic unity on this federal holiday.

Would MLK support cash reparations?!?! The idea would've seemed preposterous when he was alive in much the same way that the King fam cashing in on Super Bowl ads is also kinda cringe-y. 

However . . .

KICK-ASS TKC READERS shouldn't forget that KCMO proposals for reparations remain under consideration at 12th & Oak whilst and public meetings on the topic continue without much notice or fanfare from disengaged voters.
