Kansas City Police Investigate Triple Dead Found In Northland Home

On the nicer side of the bridge, but still in Kansas City proper, there's an ongoing investigation into a ghastly scene that has NOT YET been categorized as a crime.

Here are the basics . . .

"The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department says it has opened a suspicious death investigation after officers found three dead bodies around 9:51 p.m. on Jan. 9., 2024, at a residence in the 5200 block of Northwest 83rd Terrace."

From the narrative . . .

"The calling party went to the above-listed address, looking for her fiancé. When there was no answer at the door, she broke into the basement of the residence and located an unknown dead body on the back porch. Officers responded to the back porch and confirmed there was a dead body. Upon further investigation, officers located two other dead bodies in the back yard. A search warrant for the address is being obtained. There were no obvious signs of foul play observed at or near the crime scene."
