Johnson County Adds More Warming Shelters

Following a longstanding trend . . . Life in the Golden Ghetto isn't always what it seems, here's a peek at resources to keep people warm amid rising scarcity in the suburbs . . . Check-it:

The county does not have a permanent 24-hour shelter.

County leaders said the following sites are open to anyone who needs a place to stay warm.

Redemption Church temporary warming center at 515 S. Ridgeview in Olathe will open from 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14, through 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
