JACKSON MAHOMES GETS OFF IN JOHNSON COUNTY?!?

Tonight we learn that the punching bag for national sports podcasters & embattled social media star seems VERY LIKELY to earn an EPIC BREAK in the Golden Ghetto. 

This is interesting for two reasons . . . 

Many TKC readers often claim that "consequences" for alleged crime are more serious on the Kansas side. Increasingly, there's reason to doubt that axiom.

Maybe more importantly . . . 

Jackson Mahomes possibly earning a pass on this one only means that HIS NEXT ENCOUNTER MIGHT BE EVEN MORE PERILOUS . . . Of course he is innocent until proven guilty, and maybe so much bad press provided necessary consequence for this sketchy encounter. We hope, for his sake, in the future he's more careful about where he puts his mouth.

"Prosecutors filed a motion Tuesday to dismiss three felony charges of aggravated sexual battery against Mahomes.

"A Johnson County judge would still have to approve the motion. If the three charges are dismissed, Jackson Mahomes would only have a misdemeanor battery charge remaining.

"The younger Mahomes is scheduled to appear in Johnson County court at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday for a preliminary hearing."
