
Recently, there has been a great deal of criticism of the KC Pet Project amid a spike in local dog mauling incidents and reports of unattended animals on local streets.
Accordingly, the group hopes to inspire locals to take better care of puppers with this cold weather enforcement effort . . . Check-it:
"As the snow started falling on this very cold week in Kansas City, our Animal Services team executed a warrant to seize dogs that were left outside without the proper shelter to get out of the elements. Four dogs are now in the warmth of our shelter and will be seen by our veterinarians while the case is investigated by our cruelty team."
